I can relate to that missing German food when I am in other countries for a few months as I miss German food especially the various kinds of bread. Aldi shops are selling German food in Ireland and maybe there are Aldis too in the UK. Some of the Polish shops are also selling German food. Maybe you can find what you missed in those shops there. Good luck. I have read some of your blogs and I´ll continue reading those you write. Happy weekend!Thelma Albertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14155779397352349297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3429093806892289408.post-87345009882815953202015-06-25T15:15:25.832-07:002015-06-25T15:15:25.832-07:00I had to laugh looking at those German foods. Been...I had to laugh looking at those German foods. Been living away from Germany for over 30 years, but it's not those things I miss. Yes, some matjes maybe cos they're hard to get in England, but few of the other "Imbiss" type foods.
Some of the German dishes I miss are meat based as it's hard to get the right cuts outside Germany. But I'm doing ok and there's nothing I miss so much that I want to return.
Check out my blogs: www.breaking-the-mould.eu and
http://the-occasionally-disgruntled-expat.blogspot.co.uk/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07877940464250743942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3429093806892289408.post-10704534895075072772015-06-25T10:36:54.940-07:002015-06-25T10:36:54.940-07:00Thank you very much Maria Egorova for your visit. ...Thank you very much Maria Egorova for your visit.
